Spring Events at Killington 2026: Your Complete Guide
Spring at Killington is not winding down — it is ramping up. From the Unlimited Spring Pass kicking off March 13 through the season-closing Dazed & Defrosted party on April 18, here is every event worth knowing about and how to make the most of it.
Unlimited Spring Pass — Starting March 13
The Killington Unlimited Spring Pass gives you unlimited access from March 13, 2026 through the end of the ski season. If you are planning to be up here more than a couple of days this spring, it is the move — Killington routinely stays open into late May, making it the longest season in the East.
Existing Midweek, Pico, and Ikon Pass holders can upgrade at a discounted rate. Check killington.com for current pricing — it sells online only.
SHAPE VT Conference — March 26–27
The SHAPE Vermont Conference (Society of Health and Physical Educators of Vermont) returns to the Killington Grand Resort Hotel for a full two days — all day Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27. Expect 300+ educators, workshops, keynote speakers, and their annual awards banquet.

Easter Egg Hunt — April 5

Killington's Children's Easter Egg Hunt is a family tradition at the resort. Kids hunt for candy-filled eggs at the K-1 Base area, and lucky finders have historically scored lift tickets and even season passes hidden inside. A toddler-friendly hunt typically kicks off at 9 a.m.
Easter Sunday 2026 falls on April 5. If you are bringing the family up for spring break, this is a great reason to plan the trip around this weekend.
Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge — April 6

The Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge is Killington's legendary annual mogul competition on Outer Limits — one of the steepest and most iconic bump runs in the East. This is an amateur-only event: competitors go head-to-head in qualifiers starting at 9 a.m., with finals in the afternoon and live music at Bear Lodge all day.
Schedule Highlights
- • 7:00–8:30 AM: Registration & check-in at Bear Mountain Lodge (3rd floor)
- • 9:00–11:30 AM: Qualifier runs on Outer Limits
- • 12:00–4:00 PM: Finals on Outer Limits
- • 11:30 AM–4:00 PM: Live music at Bear Lodge bar
- • 4:00 PM: Awards ceremony
Even if you are not competing, this is one of the best spectator events of the spring. Grab a beer at Bear Lodge and watch people send it down Outer Limits. More details at bearmountainmogulchallenge.com.
Pond Skim + KParks Spring Send-Off — April 11

April 11 is a double-header. First up: the Killington Pond Skim — the annual rite of spring where 100 skiers and snowboarders attempt to glide across a pond set up at the K-1 Lodge base area. Costumes are encouraged. Sinking is expected. The awards ceremony typically follows at 2 p.m. on the K-1 Lodge patio. This event sells out fast, so register early if you want to compete.

The same day, the KParks Spring Send-Off closes out the terrain park season. Killington Parks hosts the final park event of the winter with free food, raffles, and prizes. If you are a park rider, this is the sendoff you want.
Dazed & Defrosted — April 18

The crown jewel of Killington's spring calendar. Dazed & Defrosted is a full-on slopeside block party at the base of K-1: live music, cold drinks, soft bumps, and the loudest spring outfits you have ever seen.
