This Privacy Policy describes how Slope Space (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Slope Space LLC, 133 E. Mountain Rd, Building 3 Level C, Killington, VT 05751, collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when using our website (slopespace.com), inquiring about membership, enrolling in our referral program, or communicating with us.

By submitting any form on our site, you confirm that you have read this policy and agreed to its terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit personal information.

Technical data collected automatically: When you visit our website, we may automatically collect your IP address (immediately hashed and not stored in plain text), browser type, referring URL, and pages visited, via Google Analytics 4. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not collect payment information directly — all membership billing is handled by Proximity, our member portal provider, under their own privacy terms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to inquiries — answering contact form messages, scheduling tours, and following up on chat widget leads.
  • Membership recommendations — using quiz answers to recommend the most suitable membership plan.
  • Referral program administration — tracking referral codes, crediting referrer rewards, and applying referee discounts.
  • Marketing communications — sending emails about memberships, promotions, events, and news, only when you have explicitly consented.
  • Analytics & improvement — understanding how visitors use our site so we can improve it (aggregated, anonymized data only).

At the end of each retention period, data is permanently deleted from our Google Sheets records and any email archives. You may also request early deletion at any time (see Section 6).

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or sell cookie-derived data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; this may affect some site functionality but will not prevent you from accessing content.

Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being included in GA4 reports.

8. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We share personal data with the following third-party services, only to the extent necessary to operate our business:

  • Google (Workspace & Sheets) — Lead and subscriber data is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Slope Space staff. Google's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Proximity (member portal) — Membership billing and access management. Your membership data is subject to Proximity's own privacy terms.
  • Email / SMTP provider — Used to send notification emails to Slope Space staff and confirmation emails to you. Emails are transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections.
  • Cloudflare — Our site uses Cloudflare for DNS, bot protection (Turnstile), and CDN. Cloudflare may process request metadata per their Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — Our website is hosted on Vercel. Server logs may be retained briefly per their Privacy Policy.

We do not share your data with any third party for advertising profiling, nor do we sell your personal information. All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements where required.

International transfers: Our services are operated from the United States. If you are located in the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms where required under GDPR Chapter V.

9. Security

We implement the following technical measures to protect your data:

  • All form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification.
  • IP addresses are immediately hashed (SHA-256) before storage — the plain IP is never written to disk.
  • All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+.
  • HTTP security headers are applied site-wide: HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Content Security Policy, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, and Permissions-Policy.
  • Access to lead data in Google Sheets is restricted to authorized Slope Space staff only.
  • All API endpoints are rate-limited to prevent enumeration and abuse.

While we take reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@slopespace.com.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for EU/EEA residents). If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our site, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active members by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
